Nature

Responsibility for nature is a key element at the national camp.

We take care of what we know. The nature of Sletten carries us through the camp, creating a beautiful setting for an experience among trees, by the lake, and under an open sky. That's why we also have a responsibility to set up camp in the most considerate way towards nature.

We create the national camp together with nature, and we must remember to consider it a quiet partner that we have a responsibility to listen to and involve in the best way. At FDF, we're already great at teaching children, young people, and each other about nature. At the national camp, we want to strengthen this connection to nature and leave a positive mark on participants that can grow for many years.

Materials

At Landslejr, we want to make conscious choices that take into account the planet's resources.
Therefore, materials at the camp must be recycled or have a plan for recycling after the camp. The materials we use must be produced responsibly in relation to the environment, resources and people. We build modularly and create elements that have a quality that allows them to have a life in the community after the camp.
