Nature

Responsibility for nature is a key element of the national camp.

We take care of what we know. The nature of the plain carries us through the camp and provides the most beautiful setting for an experience between trees, lake and open sky. Therefore, we also have a responsibility to camp in the most considerate way towards nature.

We create a national camp together with nature and must remember to think of it as a silent partner that it is our responsibility to listen to and involve in the best way possible. In FDF, we are already very good at teaching children, young people and each other about nature. At the national camp, we want to reinforce nature education and leave a positive imprint on the participants that can germinate for many years.

Materials

At Landslejr, we want to make conscious choices that take into account the planet's resources.
Therefore, materials at the camp must be recycled or have a plan for recycling after the camp. The materials we use must be produced responsibly in relation to the environment, resources and people. We build modularly and create elements that have a quality that allows them to have a life in the community after the camp.
