They are held by FDF leaders with strong skills in their field

1) First aid saves lives

4 HOURS MODULE

During this module you will learn life-saving first aid in case of cardiac arrest, including CPR and AED use. The module is targeted at water activities and climbing, but anyone can benefit from the module. It counts as the mandatory refresher course that must be taken every two years. The module is held by approved instructors from the Red Cross.1)

2) First aid related to water sports, climbing and camp life

8 HOURS MODULE

During this module you will learn life-saving first aid with a focus on practical exercises and sea-sport related injuries. We dive into hypothermia, heat stroke, cramps, asthma, diabetes and treatment of minor injuries. The module is relevant for climbing instructors and anyone working with camp life - also at national camps. The module is held by approved instructors from the Red Cross.

3) Pioneering for beginners (or close to it)

2 HOURS MODULE

Would you like to get better at pioneering too? And especially pioneering with children? Then this module is for you. You'll learn some simple skills that can take you a long way when you're building. But most importantly, you'll learn techniques to ensure a safe build - even when children and young people are involved.

4) The good layout of the district's campsite

2 HOURS MODULE

Do you want tips and tricks for campsite design? Then join the module here. We'll go through the elements that are important to consider at the campsite because there are many important parameters to keep in mind. For example, we will look at setting up the camp, accommodation, hygiene and much more. The module also equips you to talk about the good campsite at home in your organization.

5) Bringing FDF pedagogy to camp

2 HOURS MODULE

The module provides you with concrete tools and materials to align expectations in the leadership group and create a safe and strong collaboration for the benefit of children, youth and adults. Based on FDF's pedagogy, we prepare you for a camp with presence, community and energy at the campsite.

6) Sing-along for everyone

2 HOURS MODULE

Music and community singing are a natural part of the national camp. This module will give you as a leader the courage to sing along more when it comes to the March and camp, and who knows, you might end up inspiring the children, young people and co-leaders of the circle to go for it and give themselves over to the community and the joy of singing.

7) Knitting club

2 HOURS MODULE

Do you also love knitting and chatting? In this module we will do just those two things. Together we will start the production of our own national camp merchandise. At the same time, we will share knowledge and experiences - both about knitting, FDF and national camp.

8) Money for your national camp

2 HOURS MODULE

Which national camp do you dream of in your region? Here we will help you to hopefully make your dreams come true. This module will give you a step-by-step guide on how to apply for funding for big and small dreams for the national camp.

9) Bonfire food

2 HOURS MODULE

The smell of food with a hint of smoke. Is there really anything better? We'll get you ready to dive into the campfire. While we cook, we talk about the considerations behind cooking for children and young people, both in terms of being food brave and climate considerations.

10) Guided tour of Sletten

2 HOURS MODULE

Do you want to get to know Sletten even better? Then this is the opportunity for you. In this module, you'll get an insight into the stories that are all around Sletten. You'll gain insight into the importance and potential of the outdoor center for the national camp and FDF in general.

11) Sprouts in Tanzania

2 HOURS MODULE

This module is for those who want to know more about FDF's international project Sprouts in Tanzania and how you as a leader and district can work with the project before, during and after the national camp.

12) Circle PR about the national camp

2 HOURS MODULE

How do you cover the national camp as a district so that both families at home and participants can follow and reminisce? Can it even be so smart that it can be used as a way of telling even more people about the work of the district? We'll be focusing on all of this when we work together to learn how the districts can create the best possible PR for the national camp.

13) The social media circle

2 HOURS MODULE

How exactly do you make a reel? Or is a story here the best way to go? How do you take the right picture and what are the rules for when it is allowed to share pictures of children in the circle on social media? This is the module that helps you get a common understanding of how to use your social media in the best possible way - within the boundaries and with the widest possible reach.

14) Get more engaged adults

2 HOURS MODULE

Do you dream of more hands and greater community in the circle? This module gives you knowledge and concrete tools to get more adults involved in your work, which is also relevant in a national camp context. We dive into three key areas: mindset, needs assessment and volunteer coordination. Recruitment is not just about finding people, it's about inspiring them to be part of something bigger.

15) The good parent contact

2 HOURS MODULE

Are you ready to create a great experience for both children and their parents at the national camp? Join the module where we work magic with parent contact to make information letters, parent meetings and visitor days a breeze. We open the magic toolbox and give you tips, tricks and spells to create calm, joy and anticipation in the eyes of mom and dad too. We'll dive into the good stories that strengthen community and look at how to invite parents into the magic of camp without them having to pack their own backpack.

16) Canoeing on Julsø

2 HOURS MODULE

Come out on Julsø and see Sletten from the lake side, while we paddle a trip and talk about the opportunities for canoeing at the national camp and in FDF in general. If you're new to sailing, you'll get an easy introduction to canoeing in FDF. If you are more experienced, there is an opportunity to improve your canoeing skills. This module will inspire you to take the district's children out canoeing at the national camp.

17) Climbing in the beech trees of Sletten

2 HOURS MODULE

Get up in the trees and see Sletten from above. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this module is for those who want to challenge themselves in the heights. If you're new to climbing, you'll get an easy introduction to climbing in FDF. If you are more experienced, there is the opportunity to improve your climbing skills and become sharper at playing in the trees. Become confident in taking your FDF children on climbing activities at the national camp.

18) Preaching and immersion

2 HOURS MODULE

We address faith, doubt and contemplation as a foretaste of what you can experience during the with the national camp's preaching. The module offers conversations and exercises that equip you to relate to children and young people's faith and doubts in relation to FDF's work with faith. Stand stronger and prepare your circle for conversations and work with faith at the national camp.

19) Magic on the circuit square

2 HOURS MODULE

Are you looking for inspiration on how to stage your circle space so that it exudes magic and becomes part of the story? In this module, you'll get inspiration for easy ways to make your circle space a part of the country camp universe without disrupting the practice, but so you can feel the magic up close. You'll get concrete ideas and a plan to take home to your circle, so it's easy to get started.

20) Going to a national camp as a new adult

2 HOURS MODULE

What is it like to be an adult at a national camp? What is expected of me? There can be so many questions you want answers to when you go to a national camp for the first time as an adult. Going to a country camp should be a fun experience, even as an adult. In this module, you will learn more about what to expect. In a creative, safe and inspiring setting, you will be introduced to life as an adult. You'll encounter a number of fun dilemmas, high expectations, wild experiences and silly conflicts that we'll work together to solve, so you'll be prepared for National Camp.
